The most important word for
describing Ligretto is "speed". Every player has 40 cards (1 to 10
in each of the 4 colors) and tries to get rid of them as fast as
possible. You may play the 1's on any free position on the table.
All other cards can only be played on cards of the same color whose
value is one less than that of the card you want to play. After
playing a 10, you have to click on that pile to turn it over.
| |
|
|
The 40 cards of each player
are distributed as follows:
- 10 cards form the stack (called
Ligretto) to the left - 3 cards lie face up in the middle - 27
cards form your hand on the right of the
"next"[weiter]-button
|
|
|
|
All players try
simultaneously to play the 10 cards of their Ligretto as fast as
possible. This is done by dragging the cards from the lower bar onto
the table and dropping them there. (In this screenshot you may play
the blue 2 ontop of the blue 1). Whenever you play one of the three
middle cards, you may replace it with the topmost card of the
Ligretto. After moving a card away from your Ligretto, click on the
stack again to reveal the next card in it. While playing these open
cards and trying to decrease your stack as fast as possible, you may
also play your hand cards (right) if you wish. You can't choose the
cards directly, you have to browse through them with the
weiter-button. | |
|
|
In the top right corner of
your screen, you can see your opponents' cards. Their open cards are
shown directly, also the number of cards remaining in their Ligretto
stacks. | |
|
|
In games with only a few
players it might occur that nobody can (or wants to) play a card,
even though noone got rid of all his Ligretto cards. When this
happens, the players can abort the round by clicking the button
which is shown to the left. The round ends and the players score
with their current points.
|
|
|
|
You earn +1 for every card
you played onto the table. The remaining cards in your Ligretto
count -2 points each. (E.g. playing 13 hand cards and 6 stack
cards brings you 11 points: +19 for all the cards you played, and -8
for the remaining 4 stack cards).
The game is resumed after
all players confirm the scoring by hitting the weiter-button.
The column "OK" shows who already did this.

The game ends as soon as a
player reaches 100 points.
